who am I?

I am a family man. I am an active member of my community. I am a man who loves this county. I spend much of my life in the heart of our valley, in the Town Square. (More About Jimmy)

Family man, husband to Safaa Darwiche, Father to Dorian and Sadek.
1974: Bachelor of Science in  Aeronautical Engineering from Northrop Institute.
1974- 1975: Worked for Trans Mediterranean Airways, Traveled throughout Europe.
1977:  Moved to Jackson Hole Wyoming, Started "Crazy Horse" Indian Jewelry business.
1978: Expanded business endeavors to include "Hot Dogs and Hoagies" at the Stage Stop Mall.
1978-1981: Moved to Seattle, Washington and worked as an Engineer for the Boeing Company, Kept business interest in Jackson.
1981: Returned to Jackson, and changed "Hot Dogs and Hoagies" to "Pedro’s Mexican Food."
1983: Started “A Touch of Class” Featuring fine gifts and collectibles.
1984: Realized a dream by climbing the Grand Teton.
1984: Joined the Jackson Hole Lions' Club.
1985: Initiated "U.S. Flag Display" Program in town on national holidays.
1986: Expanded "A Touch of Class" to include “Shadow Mountain Gallery” featuring Western landscape and wild life art.
1988-1989: Elected Jackson Hole Lion's Club President. 
1989: Chairman of Jackson Hole "Junior Miss" Program. 
1990: Monitored and advised local Lions' Club's activities throughout western Wyoming, as Wyoming Lion's Club Zone Chairman. 
1991: Another dream realized. Built our home at Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis.
1993: Designed and built six employee townhouses on Millward Street.
1993- Present: “Free Holidays Film Festival for Kids” sponsored by “A Touch of Class”.
1997: Participated with City and County government to assist the Community Center for the Arts to secure land lease, develop use, and implement building schedule.
1997: Started working on "Town is Heart" concept.
1998: Planned and built a commercial building on West Broadway.
1999:  Joined Jackson Hole Rotary Club.
1999: Served on the Board of Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce.
2000: The dream continues... floated the Colorado River.
2000: Appointed to the Board of the Community Foundation Emergency Relief Fund. Neighbor helping neighbor.
2000: Founded the "Historic Downtown Business Association".
2001: Attended Jackson Hole Leadership Program.
2001: Started the "Farmers’ Market" on the Town Square.
2002: Elected in a land slide election to the seat of County Commissioner (a stewardship to the most beautiful place on earth), in a very special community. It’s worth all the effort.
